Gardens made of light, texture and quiet

By tending to the relation of physical elements — colour, texture, shade — alongside the ineffable components of atmosphere and mood, Lara Morabito creates gardens and outdoor spaces that reflect her sensibility as an artist and her mastery as a designer.

About Lara

Trained as a painter, practising as a gardener

Lara came to landscape through painting, and still designs the way she once composed: in tone, mass and interval. Each garden begins with weeks of watching — where the water goes, where the light lands in February, what already grows there and wants to stay.

The result is work that rarely announces itself. Gardens that feel less designed than uncovered, and that grow more like themselves each year.
